About

What To Expect

Anyone can attend our services. We've had the homeless walk in looking for help during service, we've had people attend bible study just looking to get out of the heat and into an air conditioned room.

In our services you will find people dressed in a variety of fashions from a 3 piece suit to a t-shirt and bluejeans. Honestly, we'll just be glad you are there!

Our worship and our preaching is bible based and Pentecostal so when you do attend you can expect to feel the Holy Ghost!

Our Story

Our story begins in a time of confusion. Pastor Jason Utt and family were in search of a deeper walk with God that lead them away from traditional christianity and even away from the main stream of the Apostolic/Pentecostal movement.

In this search God began dealing with Pastor Utt about the Sabbath and the truth about the new covenant God has made with His people (see Jeremiah 31:31-33). Jesus says plainly in Matthew 5:17 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil."

From this revelation and reading in Galatians 3 it became plain that there is a marked difference between the Law of God and the Law of Moses! Moses' law was for the nation of Israel, but the 10 commandments (including the 4th!) are written on the hearts of believers with the pen of the Holy Ghost!

In the spring of 2022 Pastor Utt became an ordained elder in the CACI (Covenant Apostolic Congregations International). God has indeed been leading us on a journey out of Babylon but the journey is not over!

If you find yourself being like that wild olive branch the apostle Paul speaks of in Romans 11 come be with us! We are on the highway called Holiness and we're following our Messiah to New Jerusalem!

Our Beliefs

Bible. We believe the Bible, consisting of 66 books, to be the inspired Word of God, without error, the revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

We believe in One God. He has manifested Himself in many ways to mankind throughout history. In calling Moses He manifested Himself as the "I AM" speaking from the burning bush. To the children of Israel He manifested Himself as the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire at night. To those that hunger and thirst after righteousness and a closer walk with their Creator, He became flesh and became our propitiation to open the way of salvation!

Man. Man was created in the image and likeness of God. Through rebellion man was expelled from the Garden of Eden (paradise) and made to scratch his living from the dirt until he returns to it (Genesis 3:19). Mankind are born into this world in need of a saviour. We are born into sin and sin is our nature until we come to Him and become born again. (John 3:3)

Salvation. Salvation come only by grace through faith. As we are born with a sin debt it is impossible to work your way into the Kingdom of God. As stated above, Jesus told Nicodemus the only way to see the Kingdom of God is by being born again of the water and of the Spirit. On the day of Pentecost, after the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the apostle Peter preached to the crowd gathered at Jerusalem. When his preaching was over they asked Peter and the rest of the apostles; "men and brethren, what shall we do?"Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Peter goes on to tell them that this promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all them that are afar off. Ephesians 2:17 makes it plain who the afar off were. It was us! There is much to tell of this salvation that was purchased for us at a great cost. Please contact us with your questions @covenantapostolicsc@gmail.com. We would be more than happy to explain!
