Sitting here at my computer trying to put together the words to convey over this first blog post. God is good. James says; Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (James 1:17). We are a blessed people.
My family has been on this continent since the 1740’s. We have known freedom the likes of which none other modern nation has experienced. As a child I was told “you can be anything you want” and “this is the land of opportunity, if you work for it you can have anything you desire”. Sadly our days of knowing freedom are quickly coming to an end.
Please allow me to explain. John Adams once wrote;
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
As the citizens of our nation cast off their national religious identity to embrace the secularism we now see, we are increasingly seeing things that were once thought of to be only in the realm of communist nations.
Again, as a child, I remember the horrors told to me of baby girls being, for the lack of a better term, executed at birth for the crime of being the wrong gender in Communist China. I remember hearing about “those other nations” that held political prisoners, not for their actions, but for their beliefs. We have this now in our nation, all the while the people are still singing “God bless America” oblivious to the fact that the America once looked upon by the world with envy is quickly disappearing.
The 2022 elections held in the United States this year have proven that at the very least, half of our nation believes it’s ok to abort a baby made in the image of God. They may not say as much but the voting in of “Pro-choice” candidates speaks loudly. We still have people sitting in jails in and around our capital for supposed crimes committed on January 6, 2021.
On and on the list goes as states begin legalizing illicit drugs. Homosexual marriage has been practically forgotten as the perverse people now openly reach for our children and grandchildren. Transvestites prance around those same children in “Family Friendly Drag Queen Shows”.
Peter tells us; (1 Peter 4:17) For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
(1 Peter 4:18) And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
It is time for God’s people to repent. It is time for God’s people to be certain which side of the fence they are on. In the end if one stands with the enemy one may only expect to be destroyed with the enemy at His returning. Please, don’t let the Lord find you on the wrong side on that great day.
